“It is with great pleasure I get to send this email to my friends. No, it is not a new baby; it’s a Rocky Mountain sheep!! On the ninth day of a great hunt in Colorado I was able to harvest this sheep to finish my archery Collection of Four North American Wild Sheep (CFNAWS). The sheep is not the biggest in the unit but I am very happy but they had fickle wind on their side. As you can see he was wearing a radio collar so it should be interesting with him. I made a long downhill shot with a quick recovery at about 10:30 am after they (a group of 9 rams) bedded in the timber just below timberline. I was on some bigger rams during the hunt to find out from the biologist what the sheep has been up to during his life. Many thanks to my family and friends who encouraged and supported me during this quest and to the great guides that helped me along the way."
