  • WSF Directs More than $3.925 Million towards Mission Programs –
More than $750 per each WSF member!

The 2012-13 fiscal year for the Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) closed June 30, 2013 with WSF directing an incredible $3.925 Million to mission programs aimed at “Putting and Keeping Sheep on the Mountain™.”

“This is an exceptional accomplishment and is due to the generosity of our members, exhibitors, donors, auction buyers and sponsors and represents a 10.2% increase over the prior fiscal year” noted WSF President & CEO, Gray N. Thornton. “WSF raised and directed more than $750 in on the ground mission focused contributions for every WSF member. In fact, for every dollar in membership dues received, WSF turned that into $26 on-the-ground, a 26-1 multiplier unheard of in our industry” Thornton added.

During the July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 fiscal year, WSF directed $3.170 Million to state, provincial and tribal agencies from special permit and tag sales. WSF gave $191,250 to Industry Partners; $245,800 to Education and Advocacy programs; $138,000 to International Conservation initiatives and $180,200 to Habitat, Restoration, Transplants and Disease Research. A summary of the projects, agencies and programs funded is listed below.
