The Chair’s Award recognizes a WSF member, individuals, or a group for their outstanding contributions to the Foundation, including WSF’s mission, convention and programs, and their work strengthening wild sheep populations, supporting wildlife conservation or honorably serving the hunting and conservation community. The winner of this award is selected by the current Chair of the Wild Sheep Foundation’s Board of Directors.
In 2025, the Wild Sheep Foundation's Chair Glen Landrus selected Coloradans for Responsible Wildlife Management to be the recipients of the Chair's Award. The plaque reads:
The Wild Sheep Foundation recognizes and salutes the relentless, collaborative, and grass roots efforts to successfully defeat Colorado’s Proposition 127 which would have banned the hunting of mountain lion, bobcat, and lynx.
