The Wild Sheep Foundation recognizes three different Statesman Awards for government officials who have made outstanding contributions to wild sheep:
- STATE: Contributions to the state/province/country the person is from.
- FEDERAL: Contributions to wild sheep at a national level.
- INTERNATIONAL: Contributions to the wild sheep in one or more countries.
STATE STATESMAN
The 2024 State Statesman Award was presented to Quentin Kujula. He was presented his plaque at the Montana Wild Sheep Foundation banquet held in Missoula, Montana. His plaque reads:STATE STATESMAN AWARD PRESENTED TO QUENTIN KUJULA, Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks
