WSF at CITES Convention 2022

As an officially recognized observer, WSF sent a delegation to the 19th Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). Our purpose was to represent our collective interests in conserving and restoring wild sheep and goats and to reinforce sustainable use conservation supported by international hunting.

Draft Letter to MT Dept. of Transportation

The Wild Sheep Foundation signed on to a letter to the director of the Montana Department of Transportation with other wildlife conservation organizations encouraging the Department to take full advantage of new federal funding opportunities that support the construction of wildlife accommodation projects on Montana public roadways to reduce vehicle-wildlife collisions.

Even though sound wild sheep management and conservation measures happen on the landscape, they all start when like-minded people come together. This past week the Wild Sheep Society of BC hosted a Summit in Prince George to facilitate such a gathering.
