WSF: Avi Kwa Ame National Monument, Stay Vigilant
As the nation rightfully celebrates the designation of the Avi Kwa Ame National Monument in Nevada, the Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) remains hopeful that provisions for public recreation, including hunting and fishing, and allowances for access for wildlife management, stay at the forefront.
WSF: Promising Bighorn Testing in Nebraska
In mid-February, the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission (NGPC) successfully captured, took biological samples from, collared, and released 36 bighorn sheep on-site in the Wildcat Hills as the second part of a two-phase project to enhance the state's bighorn sheep population. The project was funded in part by the Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF), its Chapters and Affiliates, and other conservation partners.</
Montana FWP Announces Unprecedented Research, Management & Restoration Efforts for Bighorn Sheep and Rocky Mountain Goats
During the Montana Wild Sheep Foundation (MTWSF) annual fundraiser, on February 25, Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks (FWP) formally announced an unprecedented 5-year investment in research, management, and restoration efforts for wild bighorn sheep and Rocky Mountain goats.
