FY 2022-23 Grant-in-Aid Update Tri-State (ID/OR/WA) Optimizing Test & Remove Management to Restore BHS (Year 3)

Objective: To improve the health of bighorn sheep (BHS) populations; a collaborative project between 3 states, two tribes, the U.S. Forest Service, BLM, and NGOs, exploring underlying factors that may affect M.ovi persistence/management and post-die-off efforts to restore BHS populations following pneumonia outbreaks.

OWNF Scoping Letter

WSF and 23 twenty Chapters and Affiliates submitted the following scoping letter for the Oregon/Washington Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest Plan Amendment in WA State.

The opportunity to comment and contribute as Forest Plans are being reviewed and amended is critical to advancing effective separation strategies between wild and domestic sheep.
