Bozeman, Montana. August 29, 2022. The Wild Sheep Foundation welcomed SITKA as the Official Sponsor of the 2023 Sheep Show®. The annual Convention and Expo for all things mountain game hunting and wild sheep conservation will be held in Reno, NV, January 14-16, 2023.

"For the seventh year in a row, we're pleased to welcome SITKA as our Official Sponsor," explained Gray N. Thornton, President, and CEO of the Wild Sheep Foundation. "As the old saying goes, 'fits like a glove.' A mountain hunting lifestyle has demands their brand promise has been delivering for our members for years. SITKA's commitments to conservation actions, especially for wild sheep, is also something our members appreciate."

This coming January 2023 will mark the Foundation's 46th annual Sheep Show® convention to raise awareness and funding for wild sheep conservation in North America and internationally. To date, WSF has raised more than $140 million and directed these funds to state, provincial, tribal, and territorial wildlife agencies and other conservation partners for wild sheep restoration and conservation projects. Most of these funds have come from contributions from concerned sportsmen, women, outfitters and guide donations and companies that supply products and services to these hunter-conservationists.

“The stewardship and pursuit of wild sheep is in SITKA’s DNA,” said Lindsey Davis SITKA Ecosystem Grants & Conservation Partnership Manager. “We are proud to continue supporting the Sheep Show and have the utmost respect for the Wild Sheep Foundation and the work of its volunteers to protect mountain wildlife and their habitats.”

The 2023 Sheep Show® will open at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on January 14th, with evening events held at the Peppermill Resort Spa & Casino. The three-day show is packed with expert-led seminars, raffles, banquets, keynote speakers, youth events, entertainment, socials, auctions, and sheep hunt giveaways at the famous <1Club reception.
