National Bighorn Sheep Center
Driven by it's mission to provide education and outreach for the national conservation of wild sheep, wildlife, and wild lands, the National Bighorn Sheep Center engages nearly 20,000 individuals each year through it's museum, outdoor programs, and monthly wild sheep webinar series.
In 2018, WSF and Wyoming WSF outlined the Center's role as the formal outreach and education arm for both organizations, funded by the Butler Family Foundation. Today, the Center works closely with Ryan Brock of WSF to educate about the North American Model of Conservation and the unique biology of wild sheep. In addition the Center strives to educate about the species, the required management performed by state and federal agencies, and the generosity of private individuals and organizations that support programs to both "put and keep wild sheep on the mountain."
