WHEN IS THE MARCO POLO SOCIETY RECEPTION TAKING PLACE?
The event will be held from 4:30-6pm on Saturday in the EDGE at the Peppermill.
WHEN DOES THE HORSE PACKING COMPETITION AND THE BACKPACK RACE TAKE PLACE?
The horse packing competition occurs following the Wednesday night banquet in the foyer outside the banquet hall at the Peppermill, typically around 10 pm. The backpack races are in the same location on Friday night after the banquet.
WHAT IS WILD SHEEP DAY AT THE RANGE?
Sheep Show Day at the Range is a hands-on way to explore firearms, optics, targets, ammunition, shotguns, modern sporting rifles, and related outdoor products in a safe, professionally managed setting.

Sheep Show Day at the Range will be Wednesday, February 3rd, 2027, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm – The day before the 50th Anniversary Sheep Show.
WHEN DOES THE SPORTING CLAYS SHOOT TAKE PLACE?
The Beretta Sporting Clays Shoot will be held at the Capitol City Gun Club on Friday, February 5th from 8am-3pm. The bus departs the Peppermill at 8am.

Our Seminars will be at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Room A6. The schedule is listed on the main convention schedule, in the Day Program, on signage in the Convention Center, and the Sheep Show® app.

The Culinary Corner is located in the Expo Center in Hall 3. The complete schedule will be on our website and the Sheep Show app.
WHEN IS THE MTN TOUGH WORKOUT?
TOUGH SHEEP returns on February 5, 2027, with the same proven format and an even sharper edge. This one-day event is built to test the physical and mental demands of the backcountry athlete—where completion matters and grit wins the day. All finishers will be entered to win a sheep hunt giveaway (specific hunt details to be announced). Choose your start time with 30-person waves. The first wave will be the Pro Competition Wave (elite athletes, strictly judged & timed). No separate pro competition—everyone competes on the same course. Designed to simulate the demands of a mountain sheep hunt.
IS THERE A YOUTH AREA
The Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience (YWCE) takes place on Saturday, February 6th. The event takes place from 9am – 3pm at the RSCC in Hall 4 and 5. You must register using the special link on the YWCE website to get the free entry for youth (15 and under) plus 1 parent ticket, which is only good on Saturday.
