Funding Our Mission

While the Wild Sheep Foundation may have a relatively small footprint with approximately 11,000 members worldwide, we cast a very long and impactful conservation shadow. Through exceptional support from our members, sponsors, donors, giving societies, chapters, affiliates, and industry partners, WSF raised and directed over $11.5 million to Mission Program Funding (MPF) during our July 2024 through June 2025 fiscal year. This exceeds our prior record of $11.1 million in MPF in FY 2023-24; more than $70 million has been directed to wild sheep conservation, management, enhancement, habitat restoration, education, and advocacy initiatives over the past decade.

Funding Conservation

TOTAL WSF CONSERVATION FUNDING DIRECTED FROM 1983 TO 2025 – $110,054,411.

Without the financial support from sportsmen and women, fish and wildlife agencies would have little to no conservation and management programs dedicated to wild sheep. There is no other durable funding model, let alone one that has contributed at this level.
