OVER 47% OF WILD SHEEP FOUNDATION MEMBERS ARE LIFE MEMBERS OR SUMMIT LIFE MEMBERS - A TESTAMENT TO THE TRUST OUR MEMBERS HAVE IN WSF TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES “TO PUT AND KEEP WILD SHEEP ON THE MOUNTAIN.”

This statistic has far-reaching significance. Most importantly, this level of patronage fuels our Life Member Fund, which we dedicate to annually funding on-the-ground wild sheep projects. Last year, this fund gave $265,000 in Grant-in-Aid and scholarships.

Life Members make up the very core of the Wild Sheep Foundation. Their unwavering support has enabled WSF to continue to focus and fund mission programs throughout our history. Simply stated, To Put and Keep Wild Sheep on the Mountain. WSF salutes our Life Members—we are indebted to you all!

The Summit Life Membership takes that exceptional commitment and support to an even higher level…the summit. Life Member and Summit Life Member dues are directed to the WSF Life Member Fund to maintain a reserve, to service all life members in perpetuity, as well as fund annual Life Member conservation and education initiatives.

In recognition of the exceptional support of our Life Members and Summit Life Members, we are pleased to announce the 2025 - 2026 Life & Summit Life Members-Only Desert Bighorn Sheep Hunt and Custom Pedestal Mount Drawing! All current Life Members and Summit Life Members are entered into the drawing. New Life Members and New Summit Life Members joining on or before the January 24, 2026 drawing date are also entered into the drawing.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP – $1,000

ABOUT HALF OF WSF MEMBERS ARE NOW LIFE MEMBERS, AND FOR GOOD REASON: THEY ARE THE RESPECTED BEDROCK OF THE FOUNDATION AND ALLOW US TO “PUT AND KEEP MORE WILD SHEEP ON THE MOUNTAIN.”

Life Members receive all the benefits of a Regular Annual Membership, plus a handsome wooden engraved Life Member plaque and lapel pin. Life Members also receive a tax acknowledgement for tax purposes. Life Members are honored at the annual Sheep Show® convention with an exclusive breakfast and auction where each Life Member receives a ticket to win a desert sheep hunt at La Palmosa (must be present to win).  All Life Member dues are placed into a Life Member Fund, which maintains a reserve to serve Life Members in perpetuity and support Life Member wild sheep conservation and education initiatives.

Choose to pay in full or sign-up for a payment plan at $100 per month or $250 per quarter.  
WSF Summit Life Membership

SUMMIT LIFE MEMBERSHIP - $1,500

You must be a Life Member before you can upgrade to a Summit Life Member

THE SUMMIT LIFE MEMBERSHIP TAKES THE EXCEPTIONAL COMMITMENT OF OUR LIFE MEMBERS TO THE NEXT LEVEL—ALL THE WAY TO THE SUMMIT.

Summit Life Members will also receive special gifts to recognize their investment in WSF: A choice between a Stone Glacier Cirque Vest or a SITKA Jetsream Vest.  All options are customized with a Summit Life Member logo. They also receive a commemorative plaque, Summit Life Member lapel pin and decals. Summit Life Members also receive a tax acknowledgement for tax purposes. Summit Life Members are honored at the annual Sheep Show® convention at an exclusive breakfast and auction for Life Members—Summit Life get a free ticket into the breakfast and two tickets for the convention’s Life Member desert sheep hunt drawing at La Palmosa. Dues of Summit Life Members are directed to the WSF Life Member Fund to maintain a reserve, to serve all Life Members in perpetuity while supporting WSF’s annual Life Member conservation and education initiatives.

Drawing Rules
  • Current Life Members receive one (1) entry into the drawing.
  • New (or upgraded) Life Members enlisting up to drawing date receive one (1) entry into drawing.
  • Current Summit Life Members receive three (3) entries into the drawing.
  • New (or upgraded) Summit Life Members enlisting up to drawing date receive three (3) entries into drawing.
  • Patron sponsors of the Life Member Breakfast receive one (1) entry into the drawing per $1,000 sponsorship. There is no maximum to the amount of sponsorships you can purchase.
  • Drawing will be held during the 2026 Life Member Breakfast January 24, 2026 in Reno, Nevada. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN – NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • Winner may NOT sell, barter or trade hunt. Hunt has NO cash value. Winner MAY transfer hunt if he/she desires to another Life Member or Summit Life Member in good standing and PRESENT at 2026 Life Member Breakfast OR donate the hunt back to WSF for WSF’s best use (auction, raffle, drawing, etc.)
  • An “upgraded” Life or Summit Life Member is a member who upgrades their current Annual, Family or 3-year membership to Life Member or a current Life Member who upgrades their current membership to a Summit Life Membership.
  • Hunt drawing is for a February 2027 fully outfitted and guided La Palmosa desert bighorn sheep hunt for one hunter and two non-hunters in Coahuila, Mexico.
  • Hunt is exclusive of license fee, tips, and airfare to Monterrey, Mexico.
  • Hunt is for the February 2027 season only.
  • Winner will also receive a custom pedestal mount ($2,500 value with ability to upgrade to lifesize) of his/her ram fully donated by the Wildlife Gallery of Michigan.
