Established in 2007 and sponsored by Kevin and Kyle Hurley, this award is intended “To honor and acknowledge the passion, commitment, and vision of those men and women dedicated to sound biological management of, and hunting opportunities for, North America’s wild sheep.”

The recipient will be recognized during the Wednesday Night banquet at Sheep Show and presented with a plaque stating their accomplishments. The recipient's name will also be added to the “Wild Sheep Biologist’s Wall of Fame” listing at WSF Headquarters in Bozeman, MT.
