Artemis Outstanding Woman Conservationist Award

The purpose of this award is to recognize an outstanding WSF woman leader and mountain hunter who has made significant contributions to WSF, the wild sheep and other mountain game resource.  According to Greek Mythology, Artemis was the great Olympian Goddess of hunting, wilderness, and wild animals and was often depicted carrying a bow and arrow. She was a protector of all wildlife and wildlands.
