Successful wild sheep conservation has always been a collaborative effort. It takes wildlife professionals, agencies, conservation partners, hunters, donors—and the funding to turn good ideas into action on the mountain.
Long before radio collars are ordered, helicopters are fueled, or boots hit the ground, the Wild Sheep Foundation is working to identify where conservation dollars can make the greatest impact.
This year, WSF received Grant-In-Aid requests for 40 wild sheep conservation projects. After careful review, 26 high-priority projects have been identified for funding this fiscal year—projects designed to address some of the most pressing needs facing wild sheep and their habitats. Now, we have an opportunity to make those conservation dollars go twice as far.
