A Record for Arizona Bighorns

The Wild Sheep Foundation, in partnership with the Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, just concluded a raffle for the Arizona Game & Fish Department. The result was a new record set for an Arizona sheep tag raffle. Through the generosity and commitment to wild sheep conservation, $357,900 was raised for the chance to be drawn for an Arizona Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep tag.

Partnering Together for Nevada Bighorns

A significant trap and transplant operation occurred in mid-June in southern Nevada to aid a desert bighorn sheep population that has been at risk due to chronic drought conditions impacting both surface water and available forage. The Nevada Department of Wildlife, KUIU, Grand Slam Club Ovis, Fraternity of the Desert Bighorn, Nevada Bighorns Unlimited, the Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF), and a host of Nevada conservation NGOs partnered on a rescue mission.

WSF Raffling the Arizona Bighorn Tag

The Wild Sheep Foundation announced a special opportunity for a chance at one of the most highly coveted tags in big game hunting. In partnership with the Arizona Game & Fish Department, and Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, WSF will be offering raffle ticket chances for a Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep tag through June 30th.  This special raffle tag will be valid in most hunting districts in Arizona from Aug 15, 2025–Aug 14, 2026.
