How to Apply for WSF Grant in Aid

HOW TO APPLY

1. Applications for the WSF FY 2026-27 GIA cycle will be accepted online only.
2. Prior to applying, download and review these 3 documents:
   1. GIA Guidelines and Requirements. Review before beginning the application process.
   2. Sample Application. This is a PDF version of the online application and for reference purposes only.
   3. Budget Template. This is an MS Word document that must be completed and uploaded with your application.
3. Click the Apply Now button at the bottom of this page, which will take you to the WSF Application Portal Web page. 
4. Enter your email address in the Log in or register box.
5. If you applied in the FY 2025-26 GIA cycle, you may log in using your email and previously established password. Lost passwords can be recovered if needed.
6. If registering for the first time, enter your email address. You will then receive an email with a 6-digit confirmation code; enter the code.
7. Enter your first name, last name, create a password, enter your agency/organization, then click Complete Registration.
8. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email and be routed back to the WSF Application Portal.
9. You may now prepare and submit application(s). Click Apply and then Start Application to proceed. Instructions are at the top of each page of the online form. Work in progress is saved as you go.
10. You may submit >1 application for the FY 2026-2027 GIA cycle, but each must be a different Program/Project and have its own unique name.
11. You may return and log in as needed to complete and update application(s), up to the submission deadline of 11:59 PM MDT July 31, 2026.
