Looking back on my recent Dall's sheep hunt at Arctic Red River Outfitters with new friends, Guide Derrick Klassen and cameraman Adam Foss, this was by far the best experience I have ever had. I cannot say thank you enough to the Wild Sheep Foundation and all its partners and staff for making this dream a reality. I am forever appreciative and will always be a member supporting what they do in every way I possibly can. It's hard to put into words how great this trip was and how truly thankful I am.
 
It was unreal, and I have come out of this experience a rich man for the friendships made in the mountains and at the camp. Spending lots of time with the ARRO staff and family and all the guides in camp. I met my guide's family and his father, legend Ale Klassen, as well. I have some lifelong friends and was fortunate enough to harvest a ram of a lifetime. Harvesting rams is no easy task, and it's getting hard to do because of recent hard winters in my home state of Alaska. Thankfully, the Wild Sheep Foundation exists, and outfitters like ARRO and their team are dedicated to preserving this amazing animal. I would never have been able to go on a trip like this without winning the NWT hunt giveaway. I am forever grateful, and it was a super humbling experience that tested me physically and mentally. I'm in love with sheep preservation and hunting. It's a lifestyle, and the people I have been fortunate to meet, talk to, and spend time with embody this lifestyle day in and day out. Truly blessed!
