The Wild Sheep Foundation recently concluded its fourth Thinhorn Summit, bringing together leading wildlife professionals, researchers, conservationists, Indigenous representatives, outfitters, and sportsmen and women focused on the future of Dall’s and Stone’s sheep conservation across northwestern North America.

Project Update 2024—Northeast British Columbia is home to nearly 50 percent of the world’s population of Stone’s sheep—making it imperative that habitat is maintained to sustain these iconic species.

Coming off another record-breaking Sheep Show, and in celebration of our 16th Chapter & Affiliate Summit held this year in Calgary, Alberta, the Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) announced a commitment of $1 Million in Grant in Aid for Stone’s sheep conservation in northern British Columbia.
