Aoudad in Texas – A Trophy or Scourge?

There is more free-roaming aoudad west of the Pecos River in Texas alone than there are bighorn sheep in Canada, Mexico, and the United States – over 100,000. Texas was home to more than 1,800 desert bighorn sheep just a decade ago; now, there are only 400. Sheep Fever discusses WSF’s new policy on aoudad, along with what can be done with several guests close to the situation in Texas, and the history of desert bighorns.

North American Pronghorn Foundation
