“I am appreciative of the appointment to represent the interest of hunters engaged in domestic and international hunting and conservation” said, WSF’s Corey Mason. “We are grateful for the Administration and DOI and DOA’s leadership in reestablishing the council and seeking input on wildlife conservation, encouraging partnerships and collaboration, and increasing public access to hunting and shooting sports opportunities.”

“Americans have a long and storied history tied to supporting our nation’s beautiful outdoors. By hearing directly from the hunters and sportsmen who spend their time in nature, we can better direct federal resources and policies to ensure responsible stewardship of our nation’s forests,” said Secretary of Agriculture Brooke L.
