BOZEMAN, Mont. — The Wild Sheep Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with acclaimed singer-songwriter, fiddle player, producer, outdoor television host, and conservation advocate Nick Hoffman, who joins the organization as its newest ambassador.

The Wild Sheep Foundation is seeking an experienced and highly creative Visual Communications Manager to play a key role in advancing our conservation mission through strategic communications, compelling storytelling, and impactful visual design. This is an opportunity to combine creative excellence with conservation impact while helping shape the visual communications of one of North America's leading wildlife conservation organizations.

The Wild Sheep Foundation congratulates Gervasio Negrete as the recipient of the 2027 Conklin Award. Gervasio Negrete is the 25th winner of this "Tough Man" award, named after the late Dr. James Conklin, a Weatherby Award winner who was passionate about pursuing challenging animals worldwide. 

The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) and its Chapters and Affiliates collectively pledged $213,500 during the 18th Chapter & Affiliate Summit, held recently in Grand Junction, Colorado.  The funds will be used to support a major cheatgrass treatment and habitat restoration effort within Wyoming’s Mullen Fire burn scar.

Vienna, Austria – The Wild Sheep Foundation announced Saturday at the International Council for Game and Wildlife Conservation (CIC) General Assembly that it has committed €200,000 ($233,127 USD) to the organization’s Club 200 initiative, a program designed to strengthen international advocacy for sustainable use conservation.

The Idaho Wild Sheep Foundation has recognized Idaho Fish and Game wildlife biologist Hollie Miyasaki with its Outstanding Achievement Award for her exceptional leadership and contributions to bighorn sheep conservation in Idaho.

The Wild Sheep Foundation recently concluded its fourth Thinhorn Summit, bringing together leading wildlife professionals, researchers, conservationists, Indigenous representatives, outfitters, and sportsmen and women focused on the future of Dall’s and Stone’s sheep conservation across northwestern North America.

The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) today announced the Crow Tribal Fish & Game of Montana as its newest Affiliate, strengthening a growing network of partners dedicated to the conservation of wild sheep and their habitats.

The Wild Sheep Foundation has named Aibat Muzbay of Kazakhstan as Central Asia Specialist for its International Programs. He will lead regional wild sheep and goat conservation efforts under Kurt Alt, WSF’s International Program Conservation Director. In this role, Muzbay will support argali restoration in Kazakhstan and strengthen regional conservation frameworks and sustainable-use programs across Central Asia.
